Banksia Views
Possum
Cottage is situated in the small beach resort of Sandy Point. This
township offers an outstanding patrolled surf beach as well as excellent
fishing and windsurfing in nearby Shallow Inlet. Other local highlights
include historic Walkerville, the Cape Liptrap lighthouse, and of course
Wilsons Promontory National Park.

Within easy walking
distance are Shallow Inlet, the Sandy Point General Store, the licensed Surf
Life Saving Club, the Sandy Point Café and of course the beach.
Rosellas, koalas, possums and echidnas visit, and other wildlife may be seen
in the surrounding bushland. |

and cosy timber cottage is nestled among stands of coastal tea-tree and banksia. Banksia Views is the perfect

The kitchen
is fully equipped with a comprehensive choice of utensils, crockery and
cutlery, as well as an oven, fridge/freeze, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Fresh tank water is piped to the kitchen and bathroom sinks for drinking
purposes.
The lounge features all of the comforts you would ever require, including a
choice of electric or wood heating, a fan for summer days when you're not at
the beach, a colour television, a video player and a stereo CD/cassette
deck. |

| Your Sandy
Point holiday begins the moment you arrive. A spacious timber veranda that's
ideal for catching the afternoon sun leads you to the combined living,
dining and kitchen areas full of charm and natural light. The large windows
let in fresh sea air and make for a breezy atmosphere. Polished floorboards,
bright rugs and furnishings combine to create a welcoming atmosphere. |

On a winter's
evening the wood fire creates a warm and cosy feeling, whilst the sounds of
the rolling surf lull you to sleep at night.
The bathroom contains both a shower with a hip-bath base and hand-basin. The
laundry holds both an automatic washing machine and dryer with separate
toilet facilities. |

| The main
bedroom contains a queen size bed, the second bedroom a double/single bunk
and one of the lounges pulls out into a double bed. All beds have a covered
doona and pillows. |

Possum Cottage
caters to a maximum of six people. Sorry, we do not cater for pets as we
have koalas and birds in gardens.
A gas barbecue and outdoor setting are supplied, and ample parking for 2
cars.
We supply linen and towels for your convenience and start you off with
detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags, coffee, tea, sugar.
No smoking is allowed inside the cottages but you are welcome to sit on the
verandah and indulge.
